APIs and Integrations

Connect customization to the systems that run your business

Use Printzoe’s integration layer to connect product setup, customer designs, approvals and production workflows with your existing technology.

Integrations are delivered as scoped implementation work. Product and catalog data services exist today; design, workflow and event data are in development.

The Problem

Customization should not create another island of data

When the design tool stands apart, teams re-key orders and chase files.

  • Challenge: Orders are re-keyed between systems.

With Printzoe: Product and design data are exchanged through defined interfaces.

  • Challenge: Product data lives in several places.

With Printzoe: Product records, print sizes and catalog libraries come from one service.

  • Challenge: Status stops at the edge of the design tool.

With Printzoe: Approval and preflight status are designed to be shared with downstream systems.

  • Challenge: Every business runs a different stack.

With Printzoe: Integrations are scoped to your systems rather than forced into a fixed connector list.

Integration Areas

What can be connected

Custom implementation means the capability exists and is connected to your systems as scoped project work. Items in development are not yet available.

Custom implementation
Delivered as part of a scoped implementation project rather than self-service setup.
In development
Designed and in development. Not yet available for production use; scope may change.

Storefront

Bringing customers into the Designer.

  • Designer launched from your storefrontCustom implementation

The Designer runs as a branded application on licensed domains. How customers reach it from your product pages is scoped as project work.

  • Languages, currencies and unitsCustom implementation

Default regional settings are available to connected experiences.

Product Data

Backend data services available today.

  • Product recordsCustom implementation

    Products, categories and subcategories.

  • Print sizesCustom implementation

    Printable dimensions with their units.

  • Configurator partsCustom implementation

Product parts and the tools enabled on each.

  • Catalog librariesCustom implementation

Fonts, patterns, backgrounds and print effects.

  • Image thumbnailsCustom implementation

Thumbnails generated when images are uploaded.

  • Views, colors and optionsIn development

Product view, color and option definitions served to the Designer.

  • Visualization assetsIn development

    Product imagery for each view.

Design Data

Designs as records other systems can use.

  • Create, load and save designsIn development

Designs stored centrally rather than only in the browser.

  • Design versionsIn development

Each revision stored as a version.

  • Share a design for reviewIn development

Create review links for a design.

  • Retrieve the approved designIn development

The version the customer approved, for downstream systems.

Workflow Data

Approval, preflight and production status.

  • Approval requests and statusIn development

Request approval and read the decision.

  • Preflight requests and resultsIn development

Request checks and read the result.

  • Production-ready statusIn development

Know when a job is ready for production.

Events

Being told when something changes.

  • Workflow event notificationsIn development

Notifications when designs, approvals and preflight results change.

System Categories

Types of systems integrations are scoped for.

  • EcommerceCustom implementation

    Storefronts where customers start customizing.

  • ERPCustom implementation

    Orders, costing and fulfilment records.

  • CRMCustom implementation

    Customer accounts and sales activity.

  • PIMCustom implementation

    Master product data and imagery.

  • Order ManagementCustom implementation

    Order status across channels.

  • ProductionCustom implementation

Systems that schedule and run jobs.

  • StorageCustom implementation

Where artwork and production files live.

  • IdentityCustom implementation

    How your users sign in.

  • Custom SystemsCustom implementation

Internal tools specific to your business.

For Developers

Developer resources

The Printzoe backend exposes a versioned API for product and catalog data. Reference documentation is shared with technical teams during evaluation and implementation; there is no public developer portal yet.

Request Documentation

Security, reviewed with your team

We describe security mechanisms only when they are verified for your deployment. Authentication, access control, data handling and hosting are covered in detail during technical evaluation.

  • Licensed-domain validation

The Designer runs only on licensed domains and does not start if validation fails.

  • Role-based accounts

Backend accounts carry a role, separating administrators, staff and customers.

Integration Process

How an integration is delivered

Integrations are planned around your systems and delivered in stages.

  1. Technical discovery

Review the systems involved and the data each needs.

    Technical specialist

  2. Data mapping

Agree how products, designs and statuses map between systems.

    Solution architect

  3. Build and connect

Connect the agreed interfaces in a test environment.

    Implementation team

  4. Verify end to end

Run real orders through the connected flow.

    Your team and ours

  5. Launch and monitor

Go live and watch the first orders closely.

Who It Is For

Who integrations involve

  • Developer

Connects storefronts and systems to Printzoe’s data services.

  • Solution Architect

Decides which system owns which data.

  • Security Reviewer

Evaluates access, data handling and hosting.

  • Implementation Partner

    Delivers integrations for their clients.

Business Outcomes

What a connected stack changes

  • One source of product data

Print sizes and catalog libraries are defined once.

  • Less re-keying

Data moves between systems instead of between people.

  • Integrations that fit your stack

Scoped to the systems you already run.

  • Controlled interfaces

Systems connect through defined services, not shared databases.

Implementation

Planning an integration

A short technical discovery answers most integration questions.

Talk to a Technical Specialist
  1. Systems in scope

Which storefront, order and production systems are involved.

  2. Data ownership

Which system is the source of truth for products, orders and status.

  3. Identity and access

How customers and staff are identified across systems.

  4. Environments

Test and production environments for verifying the connected flow.
